Product description
The organic form of this chair recalls that of an unborn child. The Embryo Chair is covered with an elastic fabric available in bold colours such as red, black, yellow and blue. The chair stands on three chromium plated metal legs fastened in metal rings at the sides and back.
Newson says: "It's all conceived in my head to start with, from the shape to the type of material I want to use. I can't imagine sitting down at a desk, drawing a few sketches and trying to chase an idea." The Embryo chair, a voluptuous hourglass shaped chair and covered in a taut pink neoprene fabric (warn by surfers), was first manufactured by dedece in Sydney and was later noticed by Idee in Japan.
