Files units are centimeters and all models are accurately scaled to represent real-life object's dimensions.

The model comes as a single editable mesh or poly object (or as group for rigged models or where displace modifier has been used) properly named and positioned in the center of coordinate system. No lights, cameras and render/scene setup are included unless otherwise stated in the particular model’s description.

The Forest Slug deck chair (the Paris-chair), designed by 23 years old Arne Jacobsen, was awarded silver-medal at the world exhibition in Paris in 1925. Jacobsen did also contribute with plans for the Danish pavillion at the exhibition.
Exhibited in the House of the Future, among other places on the top roof terrace. The Forest Slug is a variation on an earlier wicker chair (deck chair) with closed sides, which won 3rd prize in a competition held by the Basket Makers’ Association in 1929. There were 4 different versions of the semi-circular sides (the ‘wheel axis’ side, the ‘radiator’ side, the closed side and the semi-closed side, open only in a small semi-circular cut-out near the ground) and a matching table.
Originally made of wickerwork and bamboo cane. Reissued in natural rattan on a solid frame of cane. Available in natural, honey and light cherry.
Prototype was made by Herman Jørgensen. Put into production by basket maker R. Wengler. Today it is produced by Newmate/Fletmageren.

Year of design: 1920's
