Product description
The GUBI chair II collection was designed by Komplot in 2006. The collection includes a chair in café height with or without arms, a lounge chair, as well as room dividers in two heights. The collection is suitable for restaurants, cafes, conference, lounge, office and home.
The GUBI Chair II consists of two recyclable materials: Steel tubing and PET fibre. A significant part of the PET fibres are made from water plastic bottles and turned into PET felt mats. Two of these mats are moulded around a steel tube frame and water jet cut. Moulding of PET fibre is commonly used in the car industry as it meets the strict demands of flexibility, sound absorption, abrasion, fire resistance and is easy to clean. Essential qualities to both vehicles and furniture. This combined with a pure straightforward look makes the GUBI Chair II suitable for private homes, work and public spaces like restaurants, meeting rooms and cafés. The chair is stackable and available in two-coloured combinations of felt: Black, dark grey, light grey, off-white and sand. The base is chrome.
