About Mischioff

Mischioff is internationally renowned for their modern hand-knotted rugs. Based in Zurich, Mischioff supplies high-end carpet stores as well as exclusive furniture retailers around the world.

Each carpet in Mischioff’s collections uses only natural materials like high-quality wool from Himalayan highlands and noble silk from China. In addition fair trade standards are applied to the production of all their carpets.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

After decades of producing product images through traditional photoshooting methods, Mischioff decided to go for something different - virtual photography. It wasn’t an easy decision but only a couple of sample images our team prepared were enough to convince them.

In just six weeks we digitized 61 of Mischioff’s beautiful carpets, designed 6 different location settings and delivered 66 of print-ready mood images for the new catalog, first presented at Cologne furniture fair 2018. The close collaboration with the client who personally selected most of the furniture pieces from our vast catalog, allowed our 3d artists to focus on overall appearance of the CG images, finally producing outstanding visual merchandising.

Design Connected is responsible for the digitization of some of the most popular Mischioff’s products and our collaboration continues with the development of more 3d models for all new carpets.
