In celebration of their 60th anniversary, Knoll introduced the Maya Lin collection. As her first furniture for production, Stones was part of "the earth is (not) flat" collection. Reflecting the artist's ongoing exploration of the relationship between humans and the earth. Stones offers a low, monolithic ellipse of colored cement as sculpture. Each piece has the simple, elliptical shapes and subtle curves that appear in much of the artist's oeuvre.
The Stones collection is available as a child's seat, adult seat and coffee table.
Table top is slightly convex. For use indoors and out with the cement color being the recommended outdoor finish.
